In my opinion, the three at the top:
- Secure Borders
- Fair Trade
- Bring them Home
These are the three issues that were a big part of Trump's campaigns, and they are the three issues that can truly separate our agenda from that of the Uniparty (Dems and Repubs are both, at the top, very much into open borders, free trade, and endless war).
I think coming together on a cohesive, limited set of demands is an important next step in continuing the momentum we have and becoming a political force.
What else?
Starting a new party from scratch would be nothing but a gift to the Democrat party. Just look at who fights for ballot access for the Libertarians - it's the Dems. And the Republican party fights for ballot access for the Greens.
We need to start as a party-withing-a-party. Both the Justice Democrats and the Tea Party had some success primarying within the party. And our movement will be much bigger and potentially much better organized than either of those.
Also, if politicians want to identify with the third party once elected, they should follow the lead of people like Ron Paul and Bernie Sanders - be willing to caucus with the major party and be willing to switch affiliation as necessary at different times.
These are just a couple of suggestions, smarter people can come up with more detailed plans as 2022 approaches, but we need to be careful about how we approach this. A third party that directly tries to challenge Republicans head-on from day one will just lead to Dem control for decades as we sort out a victor.
He was asked about it multiple times, and he was always very evasive, pretending like he didn't really know what it was, but answering in a way that hinted he might support it. It seems pretty obvious at this point that Q was a net negative for us, so why didn't he just end it?
Just checked all of their Twitter accounts. All have been silent for the past 7+ hours. Have there been any official press releases? Is anything happening on Parler or other social media that I am missing? Is this the Storm? Did they invoke the 25th Amendment?
Silence is deafening.
- Double-check your polling place and hours of operation - many last minute changes
- Plan alternate routes - expect protests/disruptions tomorrow
- Bring a mask - don't give them any excuse to not let you vote
- Go in a group - for safety, and because Get.Out.The.Vote
- Don't have any Trump paraphernalia - this is usually prohibited anyway
- Remember your I.D. - check what your state requires
- Stay in line - if you are in line before they close, they have to let you vote no matter how long it takes
