Yeah, I know! Read a biography on Rod Sterling once and, during I think the Korean War (?) he was marching through the jungle and a 'care package' from allies came through the canopy and fkn squashed the guy right in front of him! Was one of the things that led to his appreciation of the 'absurd.' Was a short guy, boxed to prove he was a 'man', etc etc. Secular Jewish, yknow. A good guy, all around. Ray Bradbury wrote some of those episodes. Etc etc. I love the original series.
