It’s not that bad here. I’m Fort Worth and ya it’s been a few years since we had a bad freeze but around 10 years ago we had the bad snow/freeze that literally shut all roads down for 2 days and no trucks moved leaving every grocery store wiped out.
Plus it’s DFW. You should know that the weather prediction will change constantly because they have no clue what our weather will actually do.
What’s even worse is that NTTA was always really good about keeping the roads clean so people would pay tolls on ice days. They sold to the Spanish company that now owns it and our first bad ice day in last few years had the worst wreck we have ever seen.
There was clearly some bad driving too because I use that express lane daily. Too many people that don’t understand black ice in Texas.
Until I hear from Trump again, I cannot relax. I want to know wtf is going on.

Businesses need to stand up for their rights or they won’t have a business left when this is all over. I don’t follow their rules and haven’t since day one. Hired 10 employees this year because I refused to accept their rules and continued growing my small family business.
So continue to wear masks but sorta brake the rules.
Fuck that shit. Stand up for your rights. Stop wearing them and the businesses need to stop following the rules. I’ve had customers complain about my installers not wearing masks and I tell them it’s not safe for their health.
They can choose not to do business with me and I choose not to follow these BS rules. Let them city come after me, they have no legal standing.
You know what’s worse? Being one of those owners who doesn’t enforce mask rules, hiring more people and pushing through this BS only to be treated like shit by customers who are pissed off that things take longer.
Every week I am getting yelled at for delays by American citizens knowing that we have all been delayed by this shit. The government is coming after the small business owners and yet my customers are making it harder by asking for extra discounts for the delays and heavily delaying payments once jobs are completed.
We are creating a society who has lost all respect for business owners.
They haven’t fucked with me much yet. It’s amazing how many people are on this site in Texas yet I still hardly see anyone but me without a mask.
We are all afraid of looking bad and we want to be nice. Dark Winter is coming because everyone wearing masks in the cold touching their faces and allowing those masks to get saturated with their germs. No heat is going to be around to save their asses from wearing a mask all day.
What the hell does that matter? City of Fort Worth and Dallas / surrounding areas have always skimped on this duty. We all know the weather is wrong most the time so they gamble to keep the damn money in government instead of playing it safe.
The fact is no one gives a shit about the citizens. They care about spending dedicated road money on their pet projects instead of for us.
