Briefings for the incoming administration would easily be the low hanging fruit for postponing rather than burden your staff with additional duty over the holidays. But that is just logic, some of you, no matter what is being presented will continually reassert what is you want to be rather than what is.

The Pentagon's explanation is reasonable. And by itself should not raise any flags. Grenell has also said the same thing.

He is not saying that the briefings not happening is false...but the reasoning behind it and how it is being presented is false.

This is true, even those that will not admit it. The entire world knows what happened here. The evidence is everywhere. It's not like this is some super new and devious plot that has not been seem a thousand times in 3rd world countries all over the globe.

Don't count on it too much. There is a lot of talk about letting the process play out Constitutionally. So they may be waiting for this to putter out before doing anything. In my mind if you have hard evidence of collusion to defraud American elections involving high ranking officials in the government, states, and government services you act on that immediately.

The government does basically shut down during Christmas. A lot of the supporting staff would also be out and lower echelons. Best thing to do is see how this was handled in previous years when there was a transition.
