There's more sex abuse from Protestant clergy than Catholic clergy, as it turns out. Catholic sex abuse is much more about homosexuality than about pedophilia, and most of the big cases being discussed are decades old.

If you really want numbers, though, no Christian clergy can touch public schoolteachers for sex abuse.

All that said, I would assume that "Biden's priest" would have to be ambivalent about Catholic moral and theological teaching.

The J&J version is closer to a regular vaccine. It doesn't use unattenuated coronavirus, but it exposed the body to material that causes the immune system to make antibodies. The mRNA treatments are almost like sythentic viruses, as they act directly on cell nuclei, causing them to create antibodies.

The main difference, as I understand it, is that the mRNA treatments kinda shoulder the immune system out of the way to make antibodies, whereas the J&J version uses the immune system more normally.

Given the history of mRNA treatments, I would prefer not to be in the first gigantic test group and spend the next several years wondering if something interesting is going to happen. If I'm forced to take a vaccine (which may end up being the case to keep my job), I'd want something more like the J&J. I'm still waiting as long as possible to see what ends up happening, but I'd trust that more than the mRNA shots.

It's almost as though these appointments are based more on family and political connections than on actual ability.

If the war is between coronavirus mutations and vaccinations, perhaps it's time for another army to take the field...

Doesn't go far enough. Where they go one, they go all. All whites must die.

Republicans were blue on the election maps when Reagan was elected.

The Republicans used to be represented by blue. It's only the past few election cycles that the colors changed. I assumed it was either because "red" and "Republican" begin with R or because a focus group responded better to blue, so they gave it to the Democrats.

I saw a bunch of white people kneeling for BLM. Fuck white people! Fuck them all! We need to kill every last one of them!

"Statement of fact" is a particular legal distinction. I don't know of any of Powell's claims have merit or not, but what's being discussed in this passage concerns a legal definition, not the veracity of the claims. Even if every single thing she claimed was true, her claims couldn't be construed as statements of fact.

Inside a courtroom, words take on more specialized meanings that aren't completely aligned with their common definitions.

100 percent of the justices who shut down the cases are white, and the lone black justice is one of only two who are worth a damn. The only reasonable conclusion is that white people have decided to destroy the Republic and that our only hope is to fill every political position with black men.
