Polling place turnout in my area is looking pretty good for the red team, I'm from a light blue county in NC.
There are a lot of leftists in Raleigh and Charlotte and we're counting late mail in ballots apparently. So if any of you are in the state I hope you do your part.
I'm not against the idea, we do still owe you one for burning down the whitehouse
never came across one of these videos before, she's a character
I'm registered unaffiliated in NC, and they let me choose a party for primaries
When I lived in DC in 2008-2009, college kids with mikes often approached me on the street to ask opinion questions, particularly at the large marching events.
outside of that one year I've never been polled. I do get frequent emails and txt messages asking if various candidates can rely on my vote but that is more campaigning than actual polling.
Based on that anecdote alone, I suspect that polls favor population centers and activists, not so much 'regular people.' Obviously that is anecdotal, I didn't try to collect any broad statistic to draw that conclusion.
The airport he spoke at is a small one, it likely couldn’t accommodate the big plane.
I think I’m in that shot somewhere, I’m the one in the red shirt heh
To be fair, they made everyone wear them through the 2 checkpoints coming in. Most of us took them off once inside though
Well that was pretty awesome
I’m in the security line, lots of regular, happy looking people, feeling the energy. There’s a lovely stewardess voice explaining to everyone what to do if a protestor tried to disrupt things. There are no rioters in sight. I probably have 20 minutes of line before we’re through.
Hopefully I’m inside before the rain comes.
I made a few new friends because everyone i know was too scared to come
There’s always an hour of local guys you still have time
I’m going to the Winston rally tonight as well.
There’s no parking at the airport so they are shuttling from an arena nearby. I bet getting into the place will be difficult. Come early.
That area isn’t the best neighborhood so don’t hang around too long afterward.
I went to a few of these in the last campaign and they are a great time, looking forward to seeing it again.
Triad here. Tillis is a swamp senator but I'm voting straight R anyway
NC is very close to becoming a blue state, we'll have to work hard.
I think it was included for comedy, but I agree that its inclusion harms the credibility of the message.
she was also imortalized in bobblehead: https://www.statefansnation.com/2015/09/villanovas-piccolo-girl-now-a-bobble-head/
The shop wasn't done for this meme though, the Biden picolo girl meme was spread in 2015. This shows that the creepy Biden meme has been a thing since long before the campaign: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJfBWrjcl4I
Bottom left is 'picolo girl' shes a famous meme amongst NC state basketball fans, she was in the Villanova band and that shot is taken after NCSU surprisingly defeated them a few years ago, I think it was 2014, maybe 2015:

I was too bro. I'm a little older though, my lib years were 2003 - 2014.I was Anti Bush pro occupy wallstreet anti Christian, it wasn't pleasant. Back then it was lots of daily show, a little occupy wall street, way too much reddit.
I still have mixed feelings about the Bush era, those days really obliterated our privacy and opened the door to the big tech overreach that we're currently suffering. We still need to reclaim the dignities we've lost to the algorithms. I also think Iraq was the wrong choice. I get what we were trying to do but to really strike back to deter terrorism we needed to hit Pakistan, Iran or the place the attackers actually came from - Saudi Arabia, but we're too economically interdependent with Saudi and those other targets were probably too powerful to viably contend with, so it was Iraq. The 2008 mortgage securities scam hasn't properly been addressed yet. The people that perpetrated it are still out there getting rich and ruining people's retirements. The complicated financial scams going on in Wall Street still need to be reigned in to serve the public interest instead of screwing us over imo.
But Trump spoke frankly about all these things and more in his campaign, he resolved to make the economy fair to ordinary Americans in a realistic way vs Bernie's communism. He promised not to get us involved in pointless foreign wars and has kept that promise. He has protected and expanded our workforce and looks like he's trying to do something about the big tech excess, I've been very pleased. Whats really wrecking things right now is this cancerous critical theory and the treacherous mass media that has somehow seized nearly every broadcast avenue and crushed all dissenting opinions. This has been building for decades, but we finally seem to have an administration that is capable of facing it, I sure hope we prevail in this election because it looks to be our last chance.
There's a school attached to my church that is enjoying record enrollment this year. You might also consider sending your child to a christian school.
I wen to public school in the 90's, college mid 2000's and it felt politically neutral most of the time, though it did have a strong anti-faith slant. College was liberalizing as all hell but nothing like these days. I wouldn't send my child to public school now, if I had one.
Can somebody give me a recap of this one, I was offline for a day and I have no idea what this thigh stuff is all about.
We almost need a running out of the loop thread to explain burritos and thighs and whatnot, the meme train has no brakes
My church has been meeting since mid May. I've been with a fundamentalist church in the southeast for about 6 months and I love it. We can return to church in mass and turn our culture around. Our population is drunk on tribal communism at the moment and the Christian worldview easily destroys that thought when given an honest comparison. Our problem is a lack of voices and a biased blockage of all access to public communication.
We need to return to traditional values and seize the means of communication.
I could not finish watching the clip, the cringe was too strong
I was 1 second away from submitting the same comment. Give this man a coat
The way I rationalize traditional morality to unbelievers:
Do you believe in the Golden rule (do as you would be done by)? most say yes
Do you believe the contra positive to the golden rule (don't do as you wouldn't be done by)? most say yes here as well
The natural conclusion to this rule is what you can call the 'anti-privilege rule' that is, when deciding to do any action, consider the consequences of everyone doing that same action. If those consequences would be disastrous, then you should't do it either. In other words, you shouldn't take up selfish privileges that others cannot enjoy, to do so would in effect be doing to others as you would not have them to do to you.
From that simple rule, Biblical morality makes a lot more sense.
Our church had a very similar sermon this morning, small world.
OP if you are looking for better churches the directory on independentbaptist.church is pretty good
24/7 hymn singing vigil in Sacramento until they change it around, that ought to fix it
