Yes and no. Lets not forget that our opposition controls both parties. They will simply shift their support to republican shills next term to keep the masses complacent just like they've done for 40+ years. 2016 was the only exception and they will do everything to make us pay for that.

The fault is on us. We needed to be out getting people to register to vote and taking off work to be poll watchers and ensure election integrity. Do I think Trump is brilliant and unwavering? absolutely, but is he supposed to have control of every facet of every piece of shit urban area? No, we should have been doing that and we failed him and made him go through more bullshit than he already has over the last four years. We need to see this as a learning opportunity going forward and get sub communities of pedes in all states and cities. This train has no brakes!

I half agree with you. The people who are saying fuck trump are wrong, but I can't blame them at the same time, it's a big slap in the face. He never should have called for a protest in DC with such a large chance of things going horribly wrong if this was just a last ditch effort in hopes that pence and others would come through for him. He's been through hell and back through his entire administration and always tried to do right by us. I can't really imagine what he's going through at the moment especially knowing he essentially got some of his supporters killed.
