This is quite a possible and elegant explanation. An additional wrinkle is the left's jumble of ideologies and talking point is what cannot make it happen. There will be people crying for returning settlement lands, re-divide Isreal, restructure schools in Arab countries...etc. Things that will threaten the geopolitical and social positions of governments involved, but are orthodoxy to some subfaction of the left. A Democrat president always has to guard the last 5~8% of the electorate that is full of these competing ideas. But the MAGA concept doesn't require electorate to even consider that - stability is stability, a win is a win. Stability that doesn't require America to "side" with anyone is a particularly cost effective win.
Netanyahu needs a win, UAE wants stability and hold their regime together. And they prefer to do it without having to change their societies, and their borders. Past US negotiations has lots of extra baggage involved. But the normalization happened without a lot of conditions, and is basically there to formalize a static peace. Gives both sides a win with little price to pay, and further isolates Iran in the process(now we are energy independent, this is the only real goal worth a damn). In fact, locking in a static peace this way while the societal momentum of both sides makes further change difficult is the best kind of deal. The left are so enamored with their uprising narrative they always want to plant the seeds of some revolutionary change, as soon as we don't bother with that, look how easily an agreement can happen.
