The free market is often a good polling indicator more so than polls themselves.
I think the 'medical excuse' approach is a bad one, mainly on the premise that we are not questioning the unconstitutionality of these executive orders and rather, recognizing them by exploiting a loophole. While it can be 'funny' (I guess) to 'own the libs' by arguing around technicalities in their orders, I think they should be ignored as if they frankly do not exist, since it's a faulty executive order and not a law. It's always good to speak truth to power in these instances instead of meandering and attempting to play lawyer with random dregs at big box stores that really have no idea about laws, the land, or its history.
Best thing is to remain CALM. The left has already attempted (rather successfully) to co-opt the 'Karen' title against people who don't want to wear masks. Remaining calm, and stating your case before departing is your best bet. If you're feeling ballsy, continue shopping, staying away from people and if they call the cops, remain calm and take it from there.
We really need to up the peaceful civil disobedience, but the right is so terrified of losing their wage slave jobs or not being able to take care of their families (which is a reasonable fear) that we are at such a huge culture war disadvantage. But so were the founders. Many of them had families and jobs.
In short, the right needs to take more risks in engaging in more social disobedience, but peacefully, if we're going to have a chance at winning this culture war (which we have been losing since the 60s).
Yeah. I live in Commie CT and I've been asked a few times in a few stores (as they post people at the doors with masks and hand sanitizer. My response is basically as simple as I can make it. I was turned away from a Goodwill of all places and I stated my position and left. I do -sometimes- see people not wearing masks, but it's really become a freaky religion in some ways to see people complying to an unconstitutional state executive order. It is odd, however that the same people that unquestioningly wear the masks will take them off if they're around more people without them. This happened to me at my local coinshop yesterday. Myself and the owner weren't wearing masks and this lady came in and ended up rolling her eyes in exasperation saying, "I'm going to take this off." These people are merely afraid of judgement. That's what you get by having the past three generations suckling the teat of social media and 'updoot' mentality. Scary shit.
Imagine thinking, as an 'artists', this was your 'big break'.
