Think about that.. we live in a country where the lowest paid person can afford to buy 10 cheeseburgers in an hour of work... And they think they live in poverty.
My wife is from the Philippines. She grew up without electricity or running water. She had an outhouse that she had to check for snakes before taking a shit... dirt poor. She worked hard went to school (that she had to cross a river by foot to get to) and did her best. She fought MMA and got a scholarship to college. In college she worked her ass off and saved money and got an internship. She paid her life savings of $10k USD to get here (that is a fortune in PH) and worked hard during her internship instead of treating it like an American Vacation like the other kids in her group. She ended up getting a full time job and works hard at it and trades crypto/sells jewelry as a side hustle. She is one of the most inspirational people I know.
She came here with Strong family values and integrity. She has a 10 year plan and is the structure I need in my life instead of blowing my cash on motorcycles and weed lol. She is MAGA af, and NOBODY complains more about lazy, spoiled American kids than her. If we had more immigrants like my wife, people would be begging for more immigration. Also, she NEVER uses her "POC" status as a crutch or anything like that and says that these Americans who think they are oppressed have some of the most privileged lives on earth and have no idea what oppression or poverty really looks like. She had to catch her dinner as a kid...
I do not think we need to slow down immigration, I think we need to improve the quality of immigrants. We need to stop being the worlds homeless shelter and instead have a more merit based immigration system where we take only the best from all over the world to help us MAGA.
I think some people in this page forget that we ARE a nation of immigrants and VERY few people can trace their ancestors back to the colonies. tbh, most white Americans are likely refugees from Europe after WW1 and WW2 wiped out Europe. During WW1 I think like half of our military was immigrants.
yep. People in red states really don't have any issue with housing. In my city (louisville) you can buy a house for $50k, and there are $500/mo or less apartments all over. I used to live in California and it was not like that at all... Houses were like $500k and apartments started at like $900 for a 1br

I don't think anyone reads the word "homophobia" as being afraid of gays anyway. Most people read it as someone who bullies gays. If people were afraid of them, how could they claim to be a victim?
I know a lot of you have given up on the left, but as someone who used to be a "default democrat" until I was red pilled by the gun community, I can tell you 100% that people can wake up if spoken to the right way. I was a naive college Obama supporter and all that, but now I am as MAGA as they come. All that was because I bought a gun and got into marksmanship and by hanging out at the range and gun stores I realized "holy shit, guys on the right are kinda dope... These guys spend all their time shooting guns and riding dirtbikes and never seem to be down. they are dealt as shitty of a hand as anyone else, but instead of aomplaining they just work hard, have fun on the weekends, and love their families. that is what likfe is all about". to be 100% honest, If I was not married, I would have already thrown it all away and lived in the woods.
That being said, my wife is super MAGA and has a similar mindset to me. She owns a few properties with large acreage in the Philippines, and we are saving to retire there ASAP and just live off the land. I am saving my paychecks, and she is trading crypto/setting up online stores. She is also planning to buy a warehouse and become a supplier for the grocery stores. She is from an extremely poor area of farmland that is starting to develop and trying to get ahead of the grocery stores to be their supplier.
She is super red pilled when coming to USA and constantly complains about how everyone here seems to think they are oppressed.
