I'm not buying it. I think it was staged and it's being used to focus the narrative to the aftermath of the protest instead of the cause. It's also meant to dissuade further uprisings and heighten tensions between us and police. I could be wrong, and I have been before. But it didn't feel awkward until that painting hit the front page, hardly a day later with so many "martyr for our cause" comments. We've had our share of losses in the past, but this one just felt..... odd. Also notice: No funeral? No charity? No lawsuit from the family?

But also: It's being plastered all over MSM by the same people labeling the whole event as a "violent insurrection" and the reason we "must impeach Trump." Alternatively, it seems to steer our frustrations towards DC Police. And from the streams I was watching that day, we and the police were being pretty respectful toward each other.
