Think about it. You'd need mass arrests, camps, trials, suspension of basic constitutional rights... People say this stuff but I don't think they've worked out exactly HOW this would happen, beyond waving American flags, shooting guns up into the air, and listening to 1980s power metal.

Part of it is the nature of the political system-the system is designed to prevent massive directional shifts in politics by the executive. It's called checks and balances. However most importantly there were too many vested interests to let him succeed. America was sold out to the Chinese because selling America out is good business, and way too many rich Americans were getting even richer with Chinese help.
Really, the only way Trump could have won this was to suspend the constitution on day 1, and literally kill hundreds if not thousands of his enemies. Ever seen that video where Saddam Hussein, on his first day in power was literally calling out his enemies on live TV, and then the security services take the people away to be shot? Yes, it'd literally require that kind of shit. Obviously, most Americans, including Trump himself, would never do that even if they could.
You simply can't overturn extremely powerful organized interest blocs by relying solely on the "rule of law."
