We can’t defeat the far left with “morals”, but we can drain them of their center-left liberals by offering the liberals freedom. Freedom to criticize. Freedom to think differently. Freedom to reclaim your individuality. Freedom to make your own choices.
We don’t need to brow beat them, because the left already brow beats them. What we need to do is offer them something the left will never give them - freedom to criticize without censorship. Freedom to speak their mind without fear.
I live in SF & grew up in the Bay Area. I know these people. Most of them are not communists. They are tech yuppies who think they’re smarter than everyone else. But they don’t realize that once republicans are gone, they will become the new enemy of the left.
The left offers them no carrots other than “morality”. We need to offer them carrots that let them continue to be arrogant. Don’t fight their nature, use it against them.
The left’s version of world history is just the narrative of US history, but negative.
I say this to people all the time who talk about this shit.
White people have killed more white people than any other race up until the Cold War. The idea that while people are some untied race is just historical ignorance.
If anything, the US is the first example of Europeans being able to live together in relative harmony.
They act like if it weren’t for white people, colonization wouldn’t have happened. Uh, so if there was an entire half of the earth that had no contact with the old world, eventually that part of the world would have been discovered. Does anyone think they would have stood a chance if they faced literally any other culture in history? It was simply a question of when not if.
Mine wasn’t that way. Makes you wonder how many states had it separate.
Yep, Freedom of thought, freedom of speech, freedom of expression, freedom of sexuality, freedom of choice. Individualism is a core value of being a liberal. But no longer.
So we now retreat to the libertarians because at our core, liberals are anti-authoritarian. Anything else is an abandonment of principles.

The memes were dank, but I didn’t really like Trump’s style all that much and just ignored him when he constantly talked about fake news.
Then the Covington Kid fiasco happened and I realized, hmmm maybe Trump has a point. Then Jussie Smollete. Okay the media is partisan trash. Then the Russian collusion happened and nothing. Wow Democrats you really gonna toss your credibility like that? So I stopped believing Democrats and started to actually listen to Trump and realized I had been living under a rock. Started liking Trump, but also liked Andrew Yang.
Then covid hit. Democrats criticize trump for shutting down travel. Then the lockdowns happen. Democrats become mask & lockdown Nazis. Media & Democrats attacked the anti-lockdown crowd due to covid concerns, okay people are scared I get it, but those protestors ain’t wrong. Then George Floyd & BLM protests. The HYPOCRISY of media & Democrats & the medical community became so blatant. They flip flopped 4 times, all just to protect what politically helped them. Then as soon as the riots were done, they went back to strict no mass gatherings & shaming anyone who disagreed.
I began 2020 skeptical of the left but had some benefit of the doubt for them. By the end of the summer, I could never see myself ever trusting media & Democrats again. Then I began watching all of Trump’s campaign speeches. And I fell in love with the man & revealed to my friends and family only weeks before the election that I was voting Trump (Live in the Bay Area, CA).
I wouldn’t call myself a Republican, though I root for them because I hate Democrats, but rather, I’m an independent that loves Trump.
The irony is, Trump is the only thing holding the Democratic Party together. Worse case scenario if they somehow get Biden to slip into the presidency, the Democratic Party is destroyed. Because it will become abundantly clear that the Democratic Party doesn’t stand for anything & Joe Biden is retarded. The only thing uniting the tribes of the left was their common foe, but once it’s their time to actually do something, they will eat each other alive, while the right will be united.
The moderate left will want something done to stop them, but they will soon realize that the Democratic leadership can’t tell the crazies no. And the Democrats will be no more.

Yes and no. A lot of these jobs require significant skills and proper management & mentorship to accomplish. This entire knowledge transfer is Republican.
Most of these jobs are also in great shortage because everyone started going to college. I know that the trucking industry in particular has a shortage of over 100k workers.
These require lots of hard work and strength, which liberals are not known for. These jobs also are all in rural areas.
But most of all, to top it all off, they require you to work in person, which liberals are all terrified of doing.
Literally a 1 month “quarantine” will shut down everything and they can’t respond fast enough to get people working to fill the gaps.

Agreed. They have India to their South-East, Australia to their South, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Taiwan to their west/south-west.
It makes no sense for them to fully invade the US because that would commit so much force that would leave them vulnerable.
