I have a different take on this. Don’t give up on old friends. He is clearly uninformed. He may learn a few things over time. And he has a right to his opinion, as do you. Let some time go by, and try to mend fences at some point. If you really are good friends, and you have gotten a lot from this friendship, be patient. This political season will pass. There’s more to friendship than your differing opinions on the news, and if he’s worth it, you can both make an effort to get past this time.
On the other hand, many musicians are sensitive souls and easily swayed by liberal programming and feelings. He may be a narcissistic selfish closed minded guy, . If not, and you enjoy his company other than politics, keep an open mind, put him in a different box in your mind, and compartmentalize him to be someone you can relate to in music or other avenues.

Reality check. Trump will win the electoral vote, even if mail in voting states all cheat for Biden. Every state he won before, he will win again. The biggest cheat states are California, NY, and other large liberal cities states.
Do a little research, you can calm your fears. Do not let the mainstream media scare you. Trump has been beating those losers at their own game since 2015. You can believe he already has every scenario gamed and planned. Also, he has enormous power as president, he knows all of their plans. Watch how he deftly parries their fake news attacks, and exposes them. He will triumph. Listen to his first inaugural speech. Everything they have tried against him has failed.
All is well. Focus your mind and research on things that give you confidence, not fear.

I’ve worked in video editing in the past. That is definitely a type of splice... very smooth but no one grows 3 inches in a few seconds. I just assumed they would be pre taping his live speech. No surprise there.

Remember, most normal people don’t want a confrontation. I’ve been in several stores in my California town without a mask. No one says anything to me, though most of them are wearing a mask. I suspect many people wear it to avoid confrontation, not because they thinks it’s a good thing. I’m trying to set a mask free example, and show people that they won’t have a problem, generally.

You know, I think this is really the way to go. This player has made the choice to stop playing (without salary?) and I, for one, am happy to see him go. Frees up space on the team for America loving players.
I suspect he started whining about wanting to kneel, and his boss told him to stifle the impulse or get out.

Have 3 oz of water every time GEOTUS says something that makes you happy.
Have an additional bit of water every time GEOTUS rolls his eyes at Biden’s answers.
Etc... no hospital.
