I strongly AGREE. My 10yo gets a life lesson everyday. Wife and I speak openly about politics, finance, work ... She has an allowance based on weekly chores and we don't buy her anything. She uses her own money. You'd be surprised how QUICKLY they learn value.
When friends are over, wife and I talk extra loud so they hear what we are saying and it is working. One 10yo was unable to go in other houses until recently and has been working the parents over to teach them covid is stupid. Don't be afraid. We're in this mess because many many people compiled.
If it is put in a gun case, temporarily mounting the optic to the lower rail might help get it in the case. Unknown with my ar-15 I can barely get it in there w the scope mounted. Get a good filter like a berkey and drink water. Water almost exclusively, unless you're having a drink.
Milk and juice (in moderation as both contain a lot of sugar) are exceptions. For milk drink only 2% or full fat. The 1% and skim are total sugar-saturated garbage!

Believe me, every liberal I know is a pudgy skinny-fat "intellectual" who think he/she is smarter than everyone around them. They can't fix a toilet and wouldn't know the barrel end of the gun.
