Yeah, totally, not at all saying he's always well thought out. But this particular quote was clear headed. Joe's lovable and a great interviewer....one of the best. But his politics are squishy at best, no disagreement.
I don't get the dissing on Rogan in this post (not that he's always spot on). But this is the quote:
Rogan quickly plays out the consequences from this approach, and it isn’t pretty … or American.
“It sets a precedent where the people that are in power can decide that something is ‘wrong speak,’ something is bad and that you can just eliminate it completely,” he added. “And then when things like that happen, they keep going. They don’t just stop at things that we can all agree are terrible. They go to things that maybe you don’t think are terrible, but other people do. And then they keep going further.”
Reuters says "false"....so, it's probably true. https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-marine-corps-pelosi/fact-check-marine-corps-did-not-rebuke-nancy-pelosi-idUSKBN29K2LE
Blammo, absolutely. The 'means of production' ostensibly held privately, yet run by the state. Centralized leader as opposed to a committee is another supposed nuance, although Stalin was really a dictator presenting the mirage of a politburo to the public. These subtle differences between the two are minute.
Thanks, can't watch libs for more than 30 sec. The lies are too nauseating. And the arrogant tone of voice is unbearable.
