You have to be little cynical also, Gab has much to gain from Twitter being allowed to do what they have been doing all this time.
If Trump manages to force Twitter into being truly neutral, that's a loss for Gab because users won't see a reason to switch to their service.
We'll have to wait and see, IMO this is just Trump spanking them and telling them to behave, i doubt Twitter will really want to take this to the supreme court, even less so with the inevitability of Ginsburg dying in Trump's presidency.
