The early ones would beat the shit out of themselves as they usually ran the same recoil spring for both 9 and 40. Glocks specifically could break off the "nose" of the slide where the spring guide rod protruded through. That part is thicker now in the newer generations. Virtually all pistol manufactures build their weapons up to 40 standards now, resulting in 9s that are tougher than they need to be.

It's a matter of recoil management/technique. In 1985 the average male handshake pressure was 118lbs. 30 years later it is 98lbs. Men are going to 9mm because they have gotten weak. (BTW women's handshake pressure has risen to within 1lb of a man's.)

Many are wrong. The 40 was developed to get the maximum out of a 9mm framed pistol. Basically, S&W figured they could shorten the 10mm down to fit in a 9mm frame, all while loading it hot enough to equal the lighter end of the 10mm spectrum. Later, experience taught that the 180gr 40 was a snappy SOB and tended to over penetrate. 155-165gr is the sweet spot where maximum energy potential meets with minimal penetration and maximum expansion. The 40S&W is ballistically superior to the 9mm in every way. Unless you're a limpwristed commie lesbian patrol officer. Then you should probably run a 9mm.

It was a primary. In the general election, they don't give a fuck. How many counties in the nation had over 100% turnout? Some had 200%.

This morning most of WIN was up in arms about it. Had to explain several times that the thing was shit and we didn't lose anything by it not passing. Hard to stop the herd once the stampede starts, I suppose.

Yes. They campaigned like crazy to get the no vote out... and some GOP voted against it because the language wasn't clear cut enough. Even my local GOP hated the ammendment. Kansas has some of the strictest voting laws in the country. Not everything is a conspiracy.

Now the DNC has no rallying cry in November. This means the GOP can stay on task concerning the narrative and platform. Putting it to vote in the primary was a great strategy by KSGOP. We take the state now and resubmit a clearly worded ammendment.

Even GOP voted against that poorly worded nonsense amendment. Easier to keep the current status-quo than deal with the legal hornets nest that POS would stir up. Most of the harpies screaming here in Kansas don't even know how strict our abortion laws are. The left is retarded and so are the spun national media stories about what is actually going on here in Kansas.

White america's homicide rate is something like 1.7/100,000. Top 5 in the world, if I remember correctly. Basically, the overwhelming majority of our violent crime is committed by minorities.

08 was bad in Kansas primary, too. Dr Paul had tremendous support, and yet McCain somehow won the state.

He was the bitch of Boss Pendergrast and the KC mob. Wrote a pretty good editorial after his term about the CIA and how corrupt they are.
