I like positivity and all, but he said the same thing about Trump in 2016. And Trump only won by some small margins in swing states. If he doesn't win in a landslide though, that might be proof this country is doomed. It will be a good indicator of just how effective propaganda is
We’re doing pretty good here in Tampa, Florida. Most of our state, with the exception of Miami, is already in phase 2. Local restaurants I’ve spoken to said that their profits weren’t really killed during lockdowns either because of people ordering takeout. Economic growth rocket incoming?
I used to run deliveries, and 1/10 times apple maps would send us to the middle of nowhere. Sometimes it would be 5 minutes away, sometimes even more. We've been sent 20 minutes away from our real location. Plus, there roads aren't as updates as Google's. It was annoying because I was driving a large profile truck with a 16 ft trailer hitched on the back. I don't recall a single time where Google maps sent us to the wrong location. Had to perform magic tricks to get it out of some of the areas apple maps would get us stuck in. Google maps audio cues are also better, as it tells you clearly before the turn to turn. By the time Apple maps tells you you need to be turning.
As much as I hate Google, I really do need their maps.
I switched to duckduckgo months ago. I still use google from time to time for maps and very specific searches, but duck 90% of the time. I decided it's best not to use products made by people who hate me and want my existence eradicated. When possible, that is.
I’ve been polled twice. I think one was by a republican group and another buy a democrat group. The democrat group asked me a question about the policies of my incumbent democrat congressman, and didn’t include a “less likely” to vote for option on that specific question. I told the pollster that and he said “sorry, that’s not an option, but I can write it down”. So I’m not sure who they’re trying to fool
I walked into a gas station today, and a gang member walked in with no shirt and his pants halfway down. He cut everyone in line and told te cashier he needs to check out right now so he can get to the protests on time. These people are exploiting Geroge Floyd’s death so they can riot and cause violence
