It's not fiat it's specie. by your definition everything is fiat. There are benefits to silver as a currency in a SHTF scenario over food, booze etc... namely silver doesn't spoil and booze is only as safe as the bottle it's being held in. Silver has been a currency for 5,000 years. It's a relatively safe investment compared to say meme stocks, even if wallstreet bets is wrong and it doesn't appreciate it will never drop to 0 or anywhere close to it.
I don't necessarily expect a SHTF scenario. I didn't convert my entire 401k into bullion or anything. I don't see anything wrong with having physical bullion as part of a diverse portfolio, a lot of people think Crypto is a better bet but if energy output collapses or even slows down significantly....good luck using crypto.
Rational adults should take a look at all their investment opportunities and decide what works best for them. for me, it included some bullion in my portfolio.
I hold physical bullion myself just to be on the safe side. all I know is some silver bugs swear by PSLV< but everyone seems to agree SLV is a scam.

Paper Silver. its basically paper with the word 'silver written on it' and people buy and sell it as if it is backed by silver.
PSLV is backed by physical silver, though personally I recommend owning the bullion yourself either in a bank vault or in your house in a safe location.

Did Powell specifically mention the gun battles herself? I had heard that rumor floating around but I don't think I ever heard Powell speak on it. If she spoke about gun battles then that does lower my opinion of her. I agree the gun battle portion of the story was clearly bullshit.
The servers themselves might be a thing. ASOG, the forensics team that audited Antrim county, MI, I believe stated there were servers in Spain and Germany that were talking to the local election servers. I'm not a Cyber Security expert so I don't know. Also that part of the story really isn't all that important in and of itself. the fact that votes can be changed in mass adjudication is enough for me, doesn't matter if its done remotely or locally.
The trouble with Powell is she got bamboozled, her claims are a mix of the truth but also some rumors and flat out Qanon bullshit. I don't think it was malicious, I think she got overwhelmed at all the info coming in at her. Also some of the Qanon stuff can look pretty convincing at first glance. The reputational damage is done at this point though.

Civilizations actually can flourish without a state police force. The first modern police weren't established until the mid 1800's in London. The first 10,000 years of human civilization had nothing like what we would consider a modern police force. The communities essentially policed themselves.
However, self policing communities look much different than a modern liberal society, and a freak show like that probably would not get much sympathy for her pronouns.
