Due to my line of work I have to keep my political beliefs to myself but one hilarious thing I've been noticing is that the same people that have been agaisnt big pharma for years are now suddenly their biggest supporters. One guy I work with is super progressive and let's everyone know it. In the past he's been to rallys against pharmaceutical companies, campaigned for legal cannibus, and denounced big pharma any chance he could get. I was speaking to him the other day and the the vaccine come up. He quickly said he wishes he could be first in line to get it to help fight covid. My response was "Really? You trust the same company that brought us the opioid crisis, the same companies that fight cannibus legalization, and the same companies that constantly put profit over the well being of the community." It was met with a moment of silence before he said "I trust them on this, this is too big and important to screw up." It's amazing how quickly they ditch all their beliefs to whatever the media and the chinese overloads tell them to think.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Reddit is seriously in panic over Hunter and trying to defend "Hate Speech". In the news thread about the killings in France and the response from the PM of Malaysia I posted "How is twitter allowing this guy to call for the deaths of innocent people, yet they will ban you over even mentioning Hunter Biden being a pedophile, and the Biden family knowing about it." BOOM instant ban, not sure how what I said is hate speech. China must be having the mods working overtime. What a bunch of god damn losers over there.
