That is why the Bible says this:
“There is none righteous, no, not one; There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. They have all turned aside; They have together become unprofitable; There is none who does good, no, not one.” — Romans 3:10-12 NKJV
Yes, evil has been out of control. Especially recently it seems. However, it is going to get worse before it gets better. Just know that Jesus will return to serve justice. Those who join in evil will have a dear price to pay.
But Jesus already paid that price for you, if you are willing to accept it. He "turned the other cheek" willingly out of love for you. He was beaten until He didn't even resemble a human... And then He was crucified and killed. For you. For the price of evil.
John 15:13 — “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends."
If the lion represents the British empire, what does it mean when the lion "was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man’s heart was given to it"?
Others claim that beast represents the great king Nebuchadnezzar and his experience of becoming a man again after being cursed as a beast in a field (see Daniel 4:29-33). That interpretation fits the description well.
No one can possibly know what Jesus looks like. In this image, someone has created an image of what they believe is "God" based on their own experience and opinions. They have created their own god! That is idolatry.
If you find yourself being reverent to an image like this or it affects how you act or pray, watch out. You may be worshipping an image.
God knows that humans have this tendency (He created them after all). So, he gave us the second commandment (Exodus 20:4-5).
It is also dangerous to hope for a rapture as an escape from tribulation. The Bible does not support that idea in any way.
If we choose to hold our faith, we have been promised great persecution in the end times. Be spiritually prepared. Do not be deceived into thinking that we will be excluded.
See Matthew 24:9, 24:22, and Revelation 7:9-14.
Christianity thrives under persecution. A prayer for national revival may be answered at a great physical cost, one that Americans like me have never experienced. Increased darkness only makes the Light shine brighter.
I pray that God brings an end to evil and destroys His enemies--that He comes quickly. He is surely more patient and merciful than I am, so we watch and wait.
Women are designed to be more emotional, caring, and empathetic than men. This is critical for caretaking and motherhood.
Those features have no place in government, though. Right voice, wrong place. Should they have a voice in governance? We can argue that.
Women are amazing.
A virus so dangerous that people don't even know that they've had it.
