But... Most masks don't work? I mean sure, if you have an N95 properly fitted, that's going to do something. But those fabric masks? Basically worthless. Hell, Bill Nye even did something proving how effective masks are, which wasn't very.

I live in a small town with a university, and an incoming freshman was canceled because someone she used to be friends with leaked a Snapchat she had with the n word in it. The kicker? She was 15 when it was sent and has lost basically everything for something she said 4 years ago.

People already did in my town, when we didn't have any cases. We now have a grand total of 15, and most are asymptomatic. They are threatening a curfew.

So I remember hearing or can still be tracked when off years ago, but I never had a real source. Best to assume it can be. Also best to assume it's always listening

Which, btw, is working quite well. Last I checked Japan had very few infections and almost no deaths, despite having an incredibly old population.

It's not anti Trump propaganda because Trump (as far as I'm aware) never pushed for a shut down. He pushed for a balanced reaction, social distancing and some changes to the way we run businesses to slow the spread. The governor's then freaked the fuck out and shut down the country.

Yes, doing nothing would be bad. But a shut down is just as bad in a different way. If we had taking a measured and balanced approach like president trump told us to, we would he in a much better position

Yep. I knew that. Just lots of misleading info out there. People on Facebook trying to blame all this on Trump

I see. Is that all? I guess I assumed that there must be more since my state is basically shut down. Thanks for the source

Yeah that's insane. At least where I'm at we can take a walk. Benefits of a small town I guess

It's a God send that my wife has a stable job. I hope you can find ways to stay on your feet as well until things open up again

Louisiana is basically shut down. It's aweful, even the hospitals, which you would assume are doing pretty well, are looking at laying off non essential personnel. I'm still unemployed, now applying for anything that could bring in any money at all. We need to get at least partially opened back up asap

Don't be too paranoid about presumed cases, only presumed cases that ended in death. Because, at least where I live, we are sort of rationing the tests. So if I (22 male) had symptoms I wouldn't be tested because it won't kill me. My grandmother, on the other hand, would be because she's old and it is likely to kill her.

For the duration of the virus I am self identifying as gen Z /s

But seriously, I thought it was just a meme that people believed everything they read online. When did we stop thinking things through?

Wash hands while saying the Lord's prayer. Throw in a hail Mary and or ticks in pretty close to 30 seconds.
