I'm a Canadian guy mid 20's as well. I'm just gonna live my life as free as I can til they lock me up. Nothing else I can do.

It helps to tune out of the political nightmare, especially now that you realize the government has been fucking the people for decades. I'm not saying disregard what's going on, but limit your consumption. I was going overboard a while back, slinking into depression, drinking more etc. I had to tune out a bit, go hunting and fishing more, ride the motorbike so I didn't lose my mind.

Focus on hobbies and family enjoyment, leave the political talk out of the conversation with them. Do this for a little bit and it might help.
