People always throw out that fact that a few states have been doing mail in voting. So what? Good for them, They have the infrastructure already built in. But, what, we are supposed to get every other state to that level in.... 3 months? We are just supposed to let a brand new and chaotic voting system make the election terrible for everyone?

It's why the act of gathering outside the capitol to protest lockdowns was considered deadly and dangerous but actual violent riots are "mostly peaceful". A principal in a Louisville public school was arrested over the summer for joining Linda Sarsour in a march on to this man's property to threaten to burn his house down. The charges were dropped and she still has her job. Meanwhile, a teacher would probably be fired for wearing a red hat. Clown world.
