Yup. A LOT of the comments I reported were clear and easy open shut cases of topic dilution. In aggregate they demonstrate that user definitely did not belong here. Not a single comment was removed and the user is still active in subverting our cause here. Sad.
Nope. You can Google those definitions. These things have been around for as long as the internet has. They’re kind of obscure because no one really puts a name to it most of the time. Like say when you’re in a YouTube comment section and you’re right about something but they take it off topic, pick at your spelling, or deflect, or maybe you’re slightly wrong about one unimportant detail and the entire conversation shifts to that detail.
The guy I reported was a poster that comes here and would post all the Republicans that has CP allegations or charges when someone posted about a Democrat doing it. That’s topic dilution. Forum sliding is when someone posts a bunch of off topic/unrelated comments in various threads to bury a particular thread or move it to the second page. It sliiiides the topic they don’t want seen away from people. Etc etc.
Statistics =/= Culture
Someone should do a study on what kind of music, how they dress, etc on all races and see what the prison populations overwhelmingly like.
That would be urban culture. I get that it’s tough to wrap your head around and you want to equate urban culture to being black. That’s because you clearly have never lived in an urban setting. What you know you see in movies and think it’s real.
I took a look at your post history and you seem to deflect every topic to "look over here, some Republicans did THIS though!"
That's your first mistake.
We aren't Republicans and most of us don't like them any more than we like Democrats.
Most (or all) of what you respond with is completely irrelevant to the subject matter, and would be even if we were Republicans.
We don't blindly support Republican 'leaders'.
The entire reason this forum exists and Trump was so popular is because of that. We don't like the people running this country. Very few pass the litmus test. Coming here to try to 'expose the truth' is a waste of your time.
In the spirit of your very own question here, I am now going to report any and all of your comments that break the forum rules, specifically this one:
High Energy
No forum sliding, consensus cracking, topic dilution, etc.
Lets see how you feel about that.
Oddly enough I went to inner city schools and some of the worst. This was during the 80s and 90s though, and Ill give it to them - they were trying. We had 'gifted and talented' classes which were the advanced classes. I was in there with a few other white kids and the asians. We had vocational schooling which would send you across town for half the day to learn a trade, then bus you back to the HS for the last half to do the required classes.
I dont really like limiting people like that with the accelerated reader stuff; its kind of like gaming/sports: you dont really improve much if you arent challenged or put to the test.
Very sad. I went to 5th grade reading and writing when I was in third grade and could have done it in second, but they had a policy against it that early. By third grade I was on a high school reading level. By middle schools standardized tests I was in the 99th percentile for reading comprehension.
Reading is critical. Read to your children before they can even understand what you’re doing. Show them the words in the books you read to them at night.
This has more to do with urban culture and parental priorities. ‘Act like this, speak like this, and do these things because this is what black people ARE’ needs to go away.
But no, now you have Hollywood and everyone else basically saying ‘don’t you want to be cool like black people?’ everywhere you fucking turn.
5$ a gallon gas? Won’t affect me that much.
Biden voters? Probably going to affect many of them a lot more than me. Imagine getting comfortable with 2-3$ a gallon gas at your 10$ an hour job and having it jump to 5$. Your commute just got twice as expensive. Now 1/2 hr to an hour of your day is spent just earning enough money to get there and back.
Hope you’re happy with that vote...all 12 of you
Im in the Midwest. Gas here was on par with about the year 2000. Just over a dollar a gallon. Smokes are about 5-6 bucks a pack here, but I use Zig Zag tubes and American Spirit 'bacco and make my own with a machine. TBH I cant even enjoy Marlboros or store bought smokes any more. Mine taste so much better and for lack of a better term, 'clean' when I smoke them. Doing it this way I spend about 30$-40$ a carton.
Nice
