To give you an idea how popular the self-described SOCIALIST Bernie Sanders was--and he switched from being Independent to being a Democrat in early 2015--he won 23 Primary contests in 2016, and 9 contests in 2020. And his platform is now Biden's.

If someone else emerges and I think they'd be better, I'll definitely support that person. But with the media being more viciously hostile than ever, and an anonymous Internet of people ready to both direct attack, threaten, and spread the worst possible lies about a person, every single day, I think that there's a very steep life-adjustment curve for some other private citizen to actually step forward as a new leader who stands against the Democrats, and I think Trump Jr. is already used to it, and certainly is already known to tens of millions. In my view, the leader would have to become a public figure some time this year in order to have a chance in 2024. Obama became a "new star" of the Democrat Party at the 2004 Convention, with his keynote speech at the 2004 convention.

What bullshit. So you think Mike Pence wouldn't have certified the electoral votes if the crowd outside looked bigger to him? Like that he took a look at some aerial footage of the crowd and made his certification decision from that? He himself did a rally on January 4 in Georgia where he was talking like he was Trump's strongest ally and best friend through the election fight, and then Trump repeated several times in the January 6 pre-march speech that hopefully Pence will refuse to certify the votes. And then Pence sided with the Democrats and was even at Biden's inauguration, despite Trump stating a week and a half ago that he himself wouldn't be attending it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kz25rcb2Ih8 OR do you mean that if hundreds of thousands more people were there, there could have been an actual takeover of the Capitol Building just by a sheer number of enough people unflinchingly willing to risk their lives?

GOOD. Trump has ZERO respect for that propped-up PoS. And keep in mind that all the above stuff was done (or rather NOT done) AFTER Trump refrained from saying "We won" in those last several days.

Those were different times than each other, even: Bush's re-election victory was 286 electoral votes, and the media extremely distraught at how the Democrats appeared so doomed, officially cast out into the wilderness. And then, 4 years later, Obama's first win was 365 electoral votes, and with the cult of personality around him, it appeared that no Republican could ever compete with the "cool" new "woke" Democrat Party. Then Trump won, with 304 electoral votes. And now again it APPEARS that the political movement that Trump inspired has been crushed, yeah? But do you really think our side--the supporters, not the politicians--AREN'T going to have MORE rallies? And won't be able to influence the course of U.S. politics, including elections?

I assume that downtown DC will be closed off from any large pro-Trump gathering, but that an OCEAN of people will gather right NEXT to the diving line, and gather again and again, and I can imagine some confrontations and other moments that occur from those, and that this year and next will not period of solid Democrat rule for the entire country. Texas, for one, already stated that it's getting ready to fight against new policies, and how will the proposed 100-day nationwide mask mandate go when some states--like Florida, as seen in that highway view of Trump driving to Mar-a-Lago--have increasingly less mask-wearing and enforcement, and other states--like South Dakota--enacted far fewer restrictions than most other states began to enact last spring. And I'm just talking about those things even ASIDE from what Donald Trump will do and create and say.

But consider that we're starting of pretty strong right from day one: Consider that the newly inaugurated president is so hated by so many people, that the whole downtown area of DC had to be totally sealed off and guarded by 35,000 SOLDIERS a WEEK in advance.

Great comment:

Trump was right when he said, “They're not after me, they're after you.” Following five years of miserably failing in their efforts to cancel Trump, they (as in all of them) are now canceling us. First, with fraudulent elections silencing the will of the people; now, with cutting the free speech vocal cords of any who might dare to disagree. They’re not limiting themselves to Republicans, conservatives, abhorrent white supremacists, and religious folks of every stripe. They’re also canceling Libertarians and the “I don’t care, just leave me alone” crowd.

had an extensive poll monitoring team set up in advance and warn them what was going to happen

He and even this site put out calls for people to be poll watchers. And, for whatever it's worth, "Stop The Steal" as a phrase and an effort regarding Trump's political prospects was not something that was created in 2020; it was said and promoted continually in the months before the 2016 election--by Roger Stone, through his regular appearances on Infowars and the site with that name.

We may never truly know what happened and why after January 6th it looked (at least to me) that he gave up

We definitely won't even know; he and his family were not seen OR heard from for two whole days after that (Ivanka and Eric were the only ones who still had their Twitter accounts up, but they posted nothing new), and then when he returned, it was that conciliatory speech, and then the speech at the Texas Border Wall. I think there was and still is massive pressure and threats for him to just step aside and never again say that he won. Notice he was sayin that nonstop in every speech and many times a day on Twitter, UNTIL after Jan 6.

When bars and nightclubs reopen an young people have a place to hang out and party at, this stuff will end. But that won't happen until another year or two from now, so, until then, more of this!

If you think I'll ever stop fighting for him and the agenda he set in motion, you don't know how wrong you are. I will continue to spend all day every day fighting for him, and provoking crybabies like you to keep crying about being failures in life.

Actual sentence from Wikipedia:

The storming of the Capitol was variously described as treason,[82] insurrection, sedition, domestic terrorism,[83] an attempt by Trump to carry out a coup d'état[84][85] or self-coup,[86] and the biggest challenge to American democracy since the Civil War.[87]
