"I work in an industry that is not kind to the values we hold dear here..."
I have struggled about the "What and how to do" bit. I get the why and when. I have a job in an industry that is not friendly to the ideals we share on this site. I make a good living and have young children and one wrong move could remove my ability to make a living in the field I am in. I have changed careers 3 times in my life for one reason or another, this career is probably the last I will have as I am in my 50's.
Sometimes its paralyzing.
You cannot talk to these people, they are beyond help. Don't defend yourself, attack every notion they hold dear as a conspiracy theory, do everything you can to escalate the hysteria and most of all, laugh while doing it. The laughter will protect your peace of mind.
