Most people think that voting machines just tally votes as a running total. I thought this as well. What's important is to make it public knowledge that algorithms CALCULATE votes based on all sorts of things that are "proprietary" to the software companies. Data like this is not even available in my county to analyze. Just a total for each party that the fucking machines were programmed to spit out.
