I live in south central Texas. Our power has been off since 3am. It has come in twice but only for about 45 minutes at a time. Our neighborhood, and many others, do not have gas. I do agree they will not be honest about the effects of wind power reliance though.

That piece of paper is essentially a piece of GameStop. As the stock becomes more “popular” the value of that “piece of paper” (aka piece of GameStop) goes up. You add all those pieces of paper together at their new value. Thus, the value of GameStop (market value) goes up.
