I was watching a live stream earlier from a yt channel called "Zach and Matt" or something. The guy was videoing the riots in DC. Thousands of people out in the streets past the curfew, inciting stuff with cops. The channel supports Yang but the guy doesn't talk a whole lot, so it was mostly just raw footage of the riots, which was really nice. He stopped filming around midnight eastern time though, should be back tomorrow.
The Guard were using rubber bullets and mild flashbangs to keep crowd back when they got too rowdy, even did a couple of riot shield line pushes to increase their perimeter.
The swordsman didn't instigate it, he ran out in retaliation. Those dindu nuffin skateboard joggers were throwing rocks at him, which you can see and hear in the full video (not the Snapchat video taken by the co-stone thrower).
