I have a well, septic, and the only thing I'm missing is self provided power. The house I live in was built close to 20 years ago so I've been putting that off since I'll likely need to replace the roof soon. I wake up to deer most of the spring and fall so I have that too. With an acre I think I can support the two of us since we have preservation skills, guns, ammo, and such. Plus surrounded by people that also have guns and are largely blue collar trade types. I grew up in that too so I know all sorts of things from small engine repair to electronics repair.
