Yes I have noise isolating buds but I just don't want to deal with them. My current go to is one of the Sony iterations that probably rooted in the 80s. MDR V5.

I called Loyd Smucker which is my district rep. No wait no fuss. I told them to support the lawsuit by Parnell and Kelly. Told them to support the republicans in the house votes soon to come. Told them I am only voting republican to support Trump and the America First movement. The receptionist was nice, polite, and took down my name and information presumably to verify I'm a constituent.
Be active. Let them know your vote is contingent on supporting the rule of law. I think I was pretty clear that regardless of outcome the rule of law needs to be upheld and anyone that is going to get my future votes will hold those values. It's easy. Be polite, kind, and firm.
One of the greatest examples of what's great about living in a red area happened today this morning. It's the little things. It's very rural here. Our mail drivers drive their own vehicles. A lot of package delivery is by independent contractors in rented trucks short of UPS and sometimes FedEx. We are expecting as much as 20 inches of snow by tomorrow morning so contracted plow drivers for the township are salting my street that sees pretty much no traffic besides the locals.
He stopped as he drove past my mail box, I live on the top of a high hill (great for sniping commies) and the packages are usually left at my mailbox at the bottom. He drove past, backed up, picked up the boxes, and walked them to my door. Said he didn't want to bury them later and the delivery drivers are lazy SOBs.
