We see them, and recognize them and report them to hell. They are fake posts by shills or those that simply seek to do harm. Exactly like the posts that appeared on Reddit. There's no real way to know the origin of a post and this is a disadvantage.
Now this is a dangerous thought, but what about a clearinghouse where posters IP addresses can be aggregated and monitored for bad behavior. VPN's kind of screw that up, but I know that many VPN's just get blocked anyway because so much bad traffic comes from them. If such a clearinghouse existed, any forum operator could run some simple code to check for reported bad behavior from other forum owners.
I don't want to shut ANYONE down until they post stuff that suggests they need to be shut down. Again, dangerous thinking, but we live in a different time now. Any bad player anywhere on earth could have a negative influence here.
