Unpopular opinion: Trump had Covid before the debate and knew it. He refused testing so he could debate. Might explain why he looked a bit rough. He needed to be at that debate. There are enough days between the next debate to recover if announced positive when he did.
CORRECTION: after hearing Chris Wallace admit that they didn’t follow procedures at the debate, and endangered both the GEOTUS and the frail basement dweller, I think it is now nearly undeniable he contracted it at the debate.
