One good thing that should come out of the BLM riots is the focus that has been put on the mayors and district attorneys in these towns. Maybe it was just me but I never saw many issues in these smaller elections because it seemed that everyone was basically on the "lets make our community better" page. I still pulled the elephant lever, but always assuming a mayoral candidate had enough common sense to come in out of the rain, and all district attorneys would at the very least prosecute crimes.
