Even if we assume anthropogenic change is true, the doom and gloom surrounding it are all speculative. "Polar bears are going to die." Nope, they're doing fine. "The coral reefs are going to die!" Nope, they're doing fine. "Antarctica is going to melt!" Nope, it's gaining mass. And on and on it goes. Humans are still way too ignorant to make those kinds of long-term predictions with any reasonable degree of accuracy.
We've been in the same ice age for the last 2.6 million years (without climate change modern humans wouldn't exist). The ice core data they have only provides information about periodic glaciation which the media erroneously calls ice ages. We only have about 800k years of data regarding those cycles, which brings us nowhere close to the actual beginning. If we're expecting the glacial cycles within the ice age to continue as they have, it's unusually warm. If this is the end of the ice age, it could be perfectly normal. They assume it's the former, but nobody knows for sure because they have no evidence explaining the larger process. There is no ice core data between the beginning of this ice age and the end of the last one because there wasn't any ice. The mathematical models are all built on assumptions that are tweaked until the simulation spits out the results they expect, but just because an answer fits the model doesn't mean it's the right answer.
