True, but it makes even less sense in Virginia where private sales without background checks are legal. If you can buy a gun anywhere why take the risk of involving the feds? Not that this had anything to do with sense. God only knows why they flagged me. They tried to pressure me into take a plea, offering no jail time, but then I'd have been a convicted felon and definitely prohibited for life. Eventually the charges were dropped because they couldn't produce a single shred of evidence. There have been a lot of witch hunts going on lately, and all our (completely peaceful) protests have been totally ignored.
They tried to get me at the gun shop a few years ago, accusing me of lying on the background check. As if criminals who know they're prohibited are in the habit of filling out the proper paperwork at a licensed dealer. You can't even follow their rules without these moonbats trying to jack you up.

That's what I was wondering. Can an election be overturned if proof of a crime (or even an innocent error) that made a material difference is revealed after the inauguration of the "winner", or would the remedy be a matter of impeachment? I have nothing against them personally. I think this whole forum could do a better job verifying claims before spreading fake news around.
