Here's my theory, say you are building a program to edit the election on the fly. So you look at the history data out there and you test with that. You run every X amount of votes, to make sure by Y time you win.
Okay, so now it's 2020 and we are seeing ~149 million people voted and flooded the system all at once. Each adding more data points to the curve, and to keep up with this 'fraud' program has to even run more. (Is that why we had to stop counting?)
You now have more data points, showing the curve to the public. I now question how long has this system been in place?
