It's bonkers to me how much this has taken off. I'm an independent games developer and it's crazy how many video game people and developers are tweeting shit about it... It's really crazy honestly, we all know nobody is going to DC.... specially with 30k troops there. I mean we are pissed, but not stupid and I think we all know that if it did come to a hot civil war, we aren't going to go toe to toe with the US military.
There seemed to be a reason to get us all to DC on the 6th that was bigger then even what Mike Pence was supposed to do (or we all thought) but my guess has always been that it had something to do with what happened at the capital, or either used search warrants to get information or evidence while they are hiding. Or knowing Trump, he knew the left would over react massively to ANYTHING that happened at the capital, I think that red folder he had was intel on ANTIFA and agitators already being there, so he delayed his speech to keep his people safe, or it had something to do with the operation going on there with the search warrants. But Trump knew they would freak out, this gave him perfect cover to take over, move the military in, put up walls and fences everywhere.
My guess is, all of this is to protect the capital from the months and months of unrest we will see over the next 6 months due what is going to happen. That is why Trump appears so subdued as compared to normal, because he has to and really he isn't in charge any longer, the military is.
I mean, regardless of the outcome in 5 days.... it's going to be a very interesting next year or so in America, hopefully the American people come out on top.
My guess is the reason Trump is acting so... sorta unlike Trump right now, is because whatever card he needed to play, the 6th was a part of that.
I mean if Trump really thought he was going to be leaving on the 20th, do any of us really believe he wouldn't be going scorched earth on everyone right now... they literally just impeached him for a 2nd time.... for nothing and he hasn't really even responded to it.
Plus not to mentioned in his books he talks about striking at the last possible moment and if someone steals from you you go after them even if it costs you 10x more then what was stolen.
I mean.... if I just took what public schools crammed in my head and told me what was true... then I would agree, but so much more to this that most people don't know.
