I can only find links to "funny.co" that are not an original article... might just be a troll or joke.

From commonpass.org.

Basically: Share your HIPAA-protected info or else you won't be allowed back into society. We were on the slippery slope the whole time. Reminds me that without a reference you can't feel when you're falling if you wake up during the fall.

I treat this like 4Chan, where anyone can be anything but you're at least left with a pile of something you can sift through to get the truth, unlike controlled forums where the contentious truths have a snowball's chance in hell of appearing.

We have no verification here so plenty of shills and doomers and controlled opposition get through to waste time whining or creating slide threads etc, but like the man says, "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance," so I appreciate the mods erring on the side of freedom because it means somewhere in the slag is the truth no one wants revealed.

While I do enjoy this current run-up, I'm curious to know if anyone has looked through past tweets (before they became more of a name recently) to see if they've been good all along or are just the latest sunflower to face the sun.

I realize there are hundreds of opinions here, so it's a generalization, but I don't think anyone is saying it hits no one hard, just that the ones who have a severe reaction, and particularly a lethal one, are in the extreme minority. This isn't a lack of concern, but rather a point in favor of saying we can't shut all of society down for something that doesn't meaningfully affect the vast majority of it.

Yeah I'm a little mystified here as well. I don't know if I missed some news somewhere, but I haven't seen anything definitively explaining why CA "turned on us" or did some other bad thing.

AFAIK: They worked with Trump in 2016, seemed to help him greatly on the social media side, and got publicly excoriated for it and lost their ability to do business with Facebook (their customer data/API) as a result due to the leftist cancel mob, basically getting dragged to shreds (I don't know that last bit for sure, but I think they had to close down or severely cut operations). That seems like two moves against the grain and then the added credibility of paying for it with everything you built.

I wouldn't trust that history blindly as it's possible it was just really good money and they could have thought, against their own political bias, that it wouldn't hurt them as a company ("no press is bad press" type of thing), but it's still pedigree I'd be interested to see on a resume.

Yeah, I have considered that and I don't think it's an invalid point. While it wasn't up when you posted this, per my other comment I wasn't slamming you for saying BTFO, just saying that it wasn't the news I was here for so I was going to add something about the greater cause, in this case fake news.

TheTrumpBump 1 point ago +1 / -0

Not slamming you btw... just saying that in general a lot of people are overblowing one line or minute out of 60 minutes of press briefings and making that an entire story, when often it could just be a quick one-off post on TDW instead of what often becomes a 10-minute video (this happens a lot outside of TDW and politics of course, too). If it's a new fact, great, but if it's just two people slamming each other then it's more entertainment and emotional salve than actual conservative advancement into the halls of power.

Well, ok, I was refreshing the front page after surfing all day and almost nothing was changing on "Hot", which is all I surf, so maybe "New" is where it's at. Also, I'm all for high-energy, but a lot of people say BTFO or "DESTROYED" etc too often like a lot of Youtubers going for clickbait, diluting the impact, so I am looking for some crunchy stuff at the moment that isn't just an opinion or a verbal spat, but hard facts like new election investigations or fraud suspicions backed by more numbers. They are coming every day, to be sure, but late at night it gets quiet, so here I am.

While I think 4chan's campaigns are much more epic, damning and 'grassroots'-feeling rather than high-tech wizardry, this is still a good time and is a reminder that spectacle is more important than truth in the news at this point in history.

I only wear bandanas over my mouth so I can still breathe normally through my nose. When people give me shit (lots of gesturing fuckwits here on the left coast) I just say "Well my liberal friends were calling me mouthbreather for the way I voted in 2016, so when COVID came around I realized that was all I needed to cover. Neat, eh?"

For sure. I only go grab take-out at restaurants that don't give me shit. I just don't wear anything.

Yeah, there are large undergrounds at all of these, but AFAIK they're slowly moving out to let the crazies eat themselves and are just hiring people who are trustworthy and known instead. I have seen evidence of people getting in shouting fights in some of the engineering pens when, in one instance, one guy, an otherwise avowed leftist, made a crack about the wrong sacred calf (belief, untouchable/unquestionable protected group, etc).

They have the worst mono-mind of all of the morons I deal with normally. These people would be wiped out by a stiff breeze. Actually, with their hyper-fear of COVID, that's probably true... they would very likely jump off a bridge if you told them they had been identified by contact tracing (and were thus smeared as a modern "pariah" in this leftist echo chamber) - one woman, with no legitimate reason to be worried, has a face shield, mask, and tight turtleneck to try to "seal" herself in.

2
TheTrumpBump 2 points ago +2 / -0

i should clarify: These people, in their supreme arrogance, are talking about how all of you should now realize you need to "get with the program" now that "their king is dead"... yeah, keep thinking that and see where it gets you.

Right, I'm with you on that. Any kind of blockchain, at least, but not only, if used only for printing ballots, won't fix all things magically. There are several proposals I've found out from other friends since mentioning this, including from the inventor of the Bash shell (smart guy) for using blockchains to verify the entirety of ballots cryptographically, including their contents as-filled, but just verifying legitimate ballots as-printed isn't enough.

Filed 8-13-20.

...and when the hell did the US Postal Service get a research division or discover/use any tech past 1990? What a world we live in...

I can see you're commenting the whole way down the line here... but I don't honestly understand why you wouldn't just say "Ok, then maybe those guys won't go to work. I guess they can pull that off, but I can't." and keep rolling on... for some reason you're taking serious offense to this as if someone has aimed something at you.

Even if someone in this conversation implied or said "every truck driver" there's no way that's ever going to be any more true of that group than of any other group described... too many people and everyone has their own complications. I think you just got off to a bad start for some reason, but no one here hates you or thinks you should put your family in jeopardy if your individual situation can't take that kind of hit, so just don't join that strike, if it happens, and that'll be that. No sweat, no worries.

Be well, my dude. We're not against you.

And here are the moving pictures :-)

First one gets the point across if you get the basic idea that they tore his life apart, Kavanaugh-style, over false rape allegations by a woman named Anita Hill.
