The thing is, Republicans seem ineffective to do what they need to do. When shit started prior to the Democrats taking the House they entertained the lies and witch-hunts. Meanwhile the Democrats lie and commit abuse left and right to get their goals.

I'm really confused. Can a lawyer answer me how this can happen? The DOJ is the plantiff right? With them wanting to drop charges, how can the judge step in and try to bring charges? It seems weird since I thought the judge was supposed to be a neutral body, not the prosecution.

It needs a legislative fix. Atm running it through the courts will most likely result in a loss due to how the laws were structured in the beginning days of the internet. The best that can come from a loss is people talking about it. When I sent in donations on the additional comments I told them to get on a legislative fix, or they deserve to lose every election going forward being able to speak to people less and less due to companies abusing power. Make them either take responsibility to everything posted, or become free speech platforms. Right now in court cases they claim either one depending on how it suits them. But just like the physical printing press talked about was understood to expand to changing technology and cover such things as webpages, speech should keep up with technology and not be slapped down just because we communicate differently now.

It doesn't help that government organization that runs USPS basically did secret meetings with those companies to get them pennies on the dollar shipping rates. You still can't get the unclassified details on the deal (which is fucked up, I think citizens should know and the people who are involved in the business). A few news outlets took how many USPS delivered and figured they were paying under a dollar per package a few years back. So 10% or less of what normal customers pay to ship seeing as you can hit 8-10 dollar shipping pretty easily. Yeah, the USPS got abused but many of the Democrat Union members (some run our pages on Facebook) claim we get paid fairly for them still. "It makes us money so who cares".
