Gave fallible men equal authority? Whichever denomination you belong to was created by a man at most 500 years ago but unless you are a Lutheran probably less than 200 years ago. The apocrypha is not considered Scripture to you because a man, Martin Luther, told you to believe that. The parts of the Bible your denomination believes was also chosen by a man when he created the denomination by breaking off from another. This is why there are thousands of denominations all in disagreement. You were also taught, by a fallible man, that despite what Jesus LITERALLY said multiple times, the Eucharist is not truly His body and blood, something that every Christian believed for over 1500 years. Scripture tells us specifically that we are not to self interpret it for this very reason. Catholics have believed the same things for 2000 years while Protestants change constantly and break apart due to those disagreements. You say you believe in only Scripture but the truth is you only believe in parts of Scripture and only in a way that you personally interpret it.

Talmudists are not the same as Old Testament believing Jews. They care more about the opinions of Rabbis than the words of God. Jesus referred to them as the "Synagogue of Satan" for a reason.
