Meet Wanda. She is a proud professed Christian. She posts Christian memes all the live long day to all of her social media accounts. She forwards every email that has the name of Jesus or God to everyone she knows. She answers every single Bible quiz she can find online to share all her personal information with (because the content creator required permissions to access certain things on your device like photos, messages, call, and data logs, but WHO CARES? I want to see which biblical heroine I am most like). Her car even has custom plates that say SETAPRT. But something happens to her world one day. The testimony of the two witnesses are being heard on every media platform. Wars and rumors of wars are taking place. Mass riots and public executions are happening more frequently. But how can this be? The few times a year that Wanda actually went to church, they always stated that Jesus was going to come and take her away from this wretched place way off into the upper cosmos of heaven (Plato-ism). But that didn’t happen. Everyone on television is saying that things are going to get much worse. Jesus was supposed to deliver me from all of this! Why didn’t he? Is He even real? Well clearly, He is not, otherwise He would have saved me from all of this. I bought into this “lie” hook, line, and sinker. This is stupid. I love my family too much to get hurt. I love myself too much to be persecuted for something that apparently isn’t real. Screw this. I’ve got to take care of my family and myself.
And that’s a microcosm of how she fell away. Not too far from a reality for some, but one that was painted with broad strokes to illustrate a point. This regression of faith was chipped away at over time. It wasn’t just a news broadcast that flipped her over the edge and caused her to renounce her faith. It was her apathy and her lack of roots plunged in truth. She understood (not necessarily taught) that once she got saved, that was it! She was good for life! She didn’t bother to seek scriptures any further. She didn’t actually bother to try and understand what she professed outwardly, albeit indirectly.
When facing the cunning nature of the accuser, he has used time as an ally to wear down God’s image bearers. Subtle tweaks, adjustments, revisions, alterations, misgivings, and doctrinal shifts have been utilized as a subterfuge to confuse, confound, and obfuscate the image bearer into disbelief. Especially when something has been established as doctrine for so long, you’d be remised if you didn’t question the validity of something if it was demonstrated to be inaccurate (at least when presented to be that way).
That should give you pause about a great many things. How has the accuser succeeded in deceiving billions over the last 1,900 years? It’s very obvious to see a red devil with big horns and green eyes coming at you. You can easily prepare for that. But engrain false doctrine into a belief for nearly 200, 300, 700 years and it’s hard for anyone to accept anything different. The person suggesting a counterpoint would most likely be called a crackpot. Or a CIA term, conspiracy theorist. Don’t question the narrative and/or official story, my friend. Believe everything you are told. Take everything a face value and don’t ever research anything on your own. Certainly, don’t draw your own conclusions.

Many point to 1 Thessalonians 4:13-19 as the proof text. It's inferred, not stated. It's an argument from silence. Plus, it's like an escape from persecution for current believers so they won't have to be tested in their faith. On the other hand, it's an opportunity for those who may have heard the word then decide to give it a shot because of the mass dissapearence of millions around the globe. That's a cop-out.
I'm tired of the "well, when all the bad stuff happens, we will all be raptured out of here" Christians and preachers.

This certainly puts an added layer of context on top of what's already very obvious. Those sick parents KNEW EXACTLY what was going to or did already happen to their child. All for power.
It's the same group of people who eat Tide Pods for karma and updoots on social media. These stupid college kids think socialism is just being socially friendly with everyone. So yes, it makes complete sense these mouth breathing, knuckle dragging, walking pee-farts believe these things.
You're not really under any obligation to render aid. If you feel like it and you have the tools and capability to give it, by all means.
This statement of his illustrates exactly how stupid he is. If you have ever been in a gun battle, or you've been in a situation that requires you to use lethal force, you DON'T SHOOT PEOPLE IN THE LEG! You shoot to end the threat as fast as possible by hitting the off button.
In self defense, you can be charged with neglegence if you shoot in the legs as a deterrent. The reason being that if you were truly under threat of serious bodily harm or death to the point you needed to use a firearm, you should shoot to end the threat and kill. By shooting the legs, you are using a deadly weapon in a wonton fashion and not for its intended purpose.
This is also leaving out the factor of the perpetrator STILL being able to shoot you if they are armed. Being shot in the leg doesn't suddenly make you incapable of furthering an assault.
