I found this to be straight pandering and completely disingenuous. He would change his tone talking as well during certain points as if to convey empathy when it was really more proof that he is just doing whatever he is told to do
looks like CNN is saying that ACB will be the nominee. I would really love to see someone else leak out that its some white male so CNN/MSNBC/DNC/FOX all go crazy that its not a female justice replacing RBG and that it should be ACB if anyone he nominates and then Trump comes out saying its ACB tomorrow.
I know of a few co-workers who tested positive (they were all working from home already) but every one of them survived. I do not have any one I know outside of work or in my family that has tested positive.
I do think it should be taken very seriously for anyone over the age of 60 especially those who have any underlying conditions on top of that. I have yet to visit my parents this year for that reason.
But what has gone for the past 6 months has been downright criminal and deadly to the majority of the population and will have far more lingering effects than covid-19.
Indians though are conservative socially and religiously as well. They have strong families structures and religion plays a large part of their family structure whether they are Hindu or Christian.
Imo it starts with the family structure. If that is strong then everything else will start coming together in due time. To have a strong family structure you will need a moral foundation which is usually derived from religion.
Masks may provide some sort of benefit - its probably more mental than physical. A lot of the mental benefit is due to the constant attack from the MSM. What masks do achieve is making it harder to identify all the rioters and looters which was probably the real end goal. To go from no masks at all during the rise and peaks of covid and then mandate it when things were getting better makes no sense to me.
Especially when there is no standardize masks - like if they came out and said everyone needs these N95 masks or something high grade I would understand it more but having some person just literally sew together something from an old tshirt and that is going to protect me and others from the virus? I am not a medical professional but a lot of these masks have large microscopic holes that the virus still can pass through easily.
