Are you missing the entire cultural revolution that is going on? Before George Floyd trump was a lock to win. With engaged youth and minority voters the election goes back to 2008 and 2012 type turnout for democrats.
This is the “skewed poll” theory. I think it’s untrue. In 2012 dick Morris did a whole thing where he would unskew polls by balancing dem and rep representation but it proved to be totally off. Also national polling in 2016 showed Hilary winning nationally by about 3. Her vote spread was about 2 so it wasn’t that off.
I don’t get the Parler hype at all. It’s an echo chamber for conservatives. If democrats win they can slap a “this platform allows hate speech” and get it removed from App Store, get hosting services to drop it etc. You need a phone number to join as well.
