I genuinely dont get why some of this site is taking the father and son side in this... we are all about civil liberties. We are complaining about being forced to wear masks and stay inside, but a guy goes running and one his "crimes" is wearing boots? What if that's what he can afford?

So we are all for civil liberties... and then suddenly we’re not? I don’t care if he’s running in boots? What’s his economic situation? Can he go and buy nice new running shoes? If you go running in the afternoon it’s going to be hot? That’s such a silly point to bring up. I go running almost everyday, sometimes it’s 90 degrees.
Next time you are jogging in the middle of the day and a man in a truck approaches you with a shotgun for absolutely no reason let’s see how you’d react. It was a random man with a gun, how do you know you don’t fight for your life?
He was not a suspect, did you even read into the story before making your judgement? The guy apparently jogged very frequently, enough so that people expected to see him everyday. The father and son saw him run by and grabbed the gun and went after him. It’s not like he went looking for trouble. It’s not like he was creeping in the night. It was jogging in the middle of the day.
The two are unrelated. They didn’t need this story to not cover the Flynn story. They were never going to cover Flynn. What did this guy do wrong to deserve to be shot? Don’t give us a bad name
