Strange is not the word I would use, although I must say they are miscalculating if they think this is going to put a damper on the whole movement, they've just given us the moral authority.
Trump needs to understand that this isn't some "fact finding mission", the election really was stolen from him. He's the big boss, he's responsible for fixing this, if not for himself, then for the future of this country.

Mayor Giuliani is a great lawyer, I love how he presents information, and he's a fighter. Trump couldn't have picked a better person for the job.
Trump is being practical, he ran as a Republican after all, once this is all over and done with they won't be able to say he didn't fight for them. It's tiring to see it all going one way though. These people can't even do their politic-ing right. It's ok to be part of something bigger. The least we can get for giving them all the money they gain in power is some miniscule facade of supporting our guy.
I may have misunderstood his comment, what I mean is, threatening not to vote for them if they don't verbally support Trump is called leverage, we'll know before the January runoff whether this robbery is going to get fixed, so why not use this position to get what you want, put up some pressure.
Let them feel like they have to cheat to win if they don't want to support Trump. I would love to see the irony of Democrats catching them and succeeding in flipping it and overturning it for their guys with the media fully behind them for the sins of these two's complacency.

You know what I don't get? Why not just "fall in line" with Trump, even if you secretly wanted him gone, you'd be getting all the support you would need, and we know these people lie effortlessly. So what gives? Something is missing here.

It's kind of an open secret, Republicans are just as guilty of paying for this "election insurance" hardware as Democrats are. All with the money you pay in taxes for them to grace you with the promise of not charging you an even higher fee.

You gotta keep in mind what we're all seeing here. Trump won his first term "accidently", it was never supposed to happen, we're blessed these people were scared enough to let him sit as president for a full four years without resorting to JFK'ing the guy.(Though they did everything short of that to stop him) Look at the way the board is laid out. The media and Big Tech, and thus the minds of a large number of people, is completely tilted toward one ideology. For one reason or another conservatives have chosen to play "fair" and let themselves be slowly stomped out of existence because these are all private corporations doing it, even though they're colluding together to do so.
I don't know about getting our way 100%, that's never going to happen, I think what you're seeing are attempts to get the people that are supposed to be on Trump's side to do what's right if they want our support.
The decisive battle is NOW.
WHAT WOULD ACTUALLY HAPPEN: Trump supporters, who were never so stupid as to let their minds be controlled by fiat via the "Republican Party", understand that they're fighting both parties to get what they want, and thus use the leverage they have to force these people to take them seriously.
They're laughing at you either way, they hate you, who cares, get what you want.
