Canadian Pede here. Our electoral system is faaaaaaar more fucked than your system- basically due to the fact that when Ontario & Quebec vote (2 large eastern provinces that have WAY more political representatives than ALL other provinces combined) the whole thing is decided. It’s insane. All of Western Canada gets screwed. That’s why we ended up with Trudeau- the most useless, impotent, fucking corrupt POS ever to breathe in Parliament.
But I still vote- because for every vote, our government has to allocate XXX money per cast vote to that party for future elections. I don’t know about your American system, but that’s one reason to consider (certainly if you are a Canadian Pede).
