I'm still in utter disbelief that we've spent months and millions of "preventing the spread", but we haven't done an ounce of actually trying to fight the virus before hospitalization.

No wonder we need the hospital. There's no in-between. She's never had to hospitalized for the flu or sinus infections to get medicinal help.

Fuck all this. States are locked down for this? Its so fucking inconsistent.

Makes sense. That's why Trump is relying on SCOTUS.

I'll like to look back, but I'm thinking Trump changed his election strat to not fight the fraud and rely on SCOTUS to rule on it in his favor

If he didn't have SCOTUS, I think he would've done more already to try to fight the mail in ballots...

I think state legislatures could do that, according to the Constitution, but it'll be overruling the "will of the people" that the courts sometimes decide to side with.

Michigan, for example, has 57 republicans and 51 democrats after this election according to ballotpedia.

Someone with more time could go through Michigan's county results and see what the Republican vs Democrat tallies for state reps are. If Republicans won the popular vote for each county on the state rep side, that might be seen as justification for the incoming legislature to send Trump electors if they don't have faith in the presidential count.

Which is funny, because Trump follows federalism more than the previous presidents did too.

Dictators would force the states to follow his agenda, not stand by while they burn because they have a governor that wants it to burn.

Yeah. Interstate commerce. That's how the feds do everything.

The cops got guns from out of state at one point, (or cars/uniforms/etc) so now the feds can dictate the rules.

Or they do an aid program for enforcement agencies, but require strings attached.

They've only sent out the 1. The 2nd one has been bogged down by Pelosi for months now.

But this is the 4th relief package - not sure why they didn't included this in those packages...

The only reason I'm Catholic is because of the Eucharist. No other denomination (except maybe the Orthodox) have any authority to effect the sacrament of the Eucharist.

Doesn't mean I give money to the general fund. I make sure my money is well used when I donate it. I dont trust the church hierarchy to manage money.

He's still human. He ain't God.

You really think Catholics love every pope today and in the past? Even Alexander VI? He was a deplorable, but that didn't mean he didn't hold the office.

Same with presidents. The office matters more than the person in it. The person in it is just a steward of the office. There are bad stewards and good stewards...

My (soon to be) wife and I have already agreed we will probably adopt at some point.

So yes, I will personally take in one of those 600,000 children, at some point in my life, that otherwise would've been aborted.

Also, are you claiming that anyone that is on welfare isn't worth being alive? While I'd make the argument that we should let everyone be uncomfortable in their poverty, especially if it's by active choices, I would never make the case that they deserve death. In the end, since we come from God, every life is precious, regardless of how "bad" you think that life is.

Do parents have a right to murder their teen-aged children? My house, my choice. They're just so expensive too. Could save so much money or headache my just aborting them at 200 months old. They aren't even adults yet.

If you wanted to argue in good faith, you'd understand the sole reason people are pro-life is the same reason people are anti-murder. But instead, you are arguing like a leftist.

Murder is murder. Just because it loses some votes doesn't mean I will back down on my desire to make murder illegal.

Otherwise, what good are we?

Unless if you just moved (and if you did, you should know to register), anyone who is not registered at this point shouldn't vote.

Uninformed and ill informed voters should exercise their right to not vote. If voting is the most important thing, then you better have studied like it was more important than any exam you've taken.

And fucking the editor too.

These liberal women use sex as a way to get what they want. Most women do (typically with their husband lol), but right women also have morals too.

It appears the article is a transcript of the video. I watched it first and then started reading and it appeared to match.

I wonder if they used a automatic caption system?

If Disney gets rid of her, I won't continue The Mandalorian. And at that point, I cancel Disney+ (still my free year from Verizon at this point).

In my work, I found a JS library (the ui extension for jquery) that has it plastered in their website:

F them. Stupid code libraries definitely don't need politics.

Trump can't forgive it, AFAIK. But, he could continue deferrals as long as there's a state of emergency. It would eventually catch up if Congress (who technically has the ability to tax) doesn't forgive the deferred payments.

The current plan is indeed double the FICA taxes for 4 months for those who opt in.

My question - if Congress forgives, then those who didn't opt in get nothing? Or will they be refunded? My employer is opting out entirely, but it'll piss me off if they only do forgiveness instead of refunding too. Equality of taxes before the law.

This letter was received by my dad (retired chief Master sergeant from the Air force) at the same time that The Atlantic tried making it seem Trump was anti-Vet.

I think this is connected by The Deep State to be part of a coordinated effort to make Trump look bad.

I'm hoping Trump will find out and fix this! We owe our vets more that this.
